What does FF&E stand for?

FF&E stands for furniture, fixtures and equipment. Hilow Interior like most designers include accessories in FF&E however when it comes to E (equipment) we may bring on specialised designers to work with us.

The furniture portion includes both interior and exterior pieces, residential, hotels and commercial. The simplest way to describe the F (furniture) is anything that will move, if it was possible to turn a room upside down.

The other F (fixtures) stands for decorative lighting. Please note architectural/ task lighting does not fall under FF&E, in this instance we would work with a lighting consultant.

Accessories include bathroom accessories (soap dish, towels, etc.), kitchen accessories (plates, cutlery, table dressing etc.) general accessories (vases, sculptures,etc.), lamps, rugs, window treatments, plants and artwork. Basically all items that pull the room together and make a house feel like a home.

We want to help you find your favourite piece to match your budget without compromising your interior.

We have a huge supplier and manufacturer database which will save you time and may even open doors to options you may not have considered.

I have seen piece I love but I can't find it?

Please tell us as much as possible about the 'piece' you are searching for i.e. desired dimensions, colour, budget, description.

Remember a picture tells a thousand words whether it is an inspirational image from Pinterest or perhaps a snap from the restaurant you are dining at, please send it to us. 

I need help to find more furniture for my room to compliment my existing interior?

Please tell us as much as possible about how you use the room and what you feel may benefit you. Then send us a picture of the room and the dimensions of the space you would like to fill and we will do the rest.

My room doesn't look finished?

Please send us a picture of your room and we can send 3 suggestions and 3 options of each for those finishing touches (i.e artwork, mirror, cushions).

Step 03

We will send you 3 options for the 'piece' you are looking for within 48 hours. Please note in busier periods this may take longer but we will notify you every step of the way.

Step 04

Please tell us your preferred option and we will send you a price and lead time.

Step 05

A Hilow Interior invoice will be sent and your 'piece(s)' will be ordered once payment is received.
